Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use a safety clasp?
We now have a safety clasp on all our necklaces. The safety clasp is used to
ensure the necklace will break free easily if your baby ever gets tangled in it.
After testing it with our necklaces it was secure enough to not come loose with
a hard tug by baby, like the incident I had with the safety bead clasp. That
is why I chose this particular safety clasp. Just in case, please keep an eye
on how hard your baby is pulling. This will ensure that in the unlikely event
of the clasp coming loose, the necklace won't hit your child in the face.
Why have a nursing necklace?
As babies grow older, their
curiousity for things around them becomes greater. This can sometimes interfere
with the quality and length of a feeding session. A great way to focus him/her
is with a bright and colorful nursing necklace, so the baby is able to look at
or touch it! It is great for color, shape and animal identification.
What are your necklaces made of?
I now use a Wax Coated Cotton Cording. I am always looking to make my necklaces
even more perfect and came across this new cording. I know there are fears if
hemp becoming smelly, so I have now taken that fear away! This new cord is
wax coated, which will act as a barrier from babies drool. This cord is also
VERY strong. It has two strands of monofilament in the center. All beads I use
are non-toxic plastic, safe for babies mouths, although I do not reccomend it
be used as a teething device. Each nursing necklace is approximately 30 inches
long, and toddler necklaces are around 20. With the cord necklaces I place knots
around the necklace randomly for extra security. This also will help prevent
all beads from coming free in the necklace did happen to break. I feel my
necklaces are extremely safe if used as directed. The sole purpose of my
necklace is to be used while feeding, when mommy is ALWAYS there. This
guarantees safe use and poses no risk to the baby. When not using please keep
away from babies reach, somewhere up high or locked away would be recommended.
What is the toddler necklace?
It is a shorter version of our nursing necklace and costs half the price.
The necklace is a must have for a jealous sibling! They will each have their
very own personalized necklace. Any of the nursing necklace designs are available in the toddler version.

the bottle feeding mom! I make it on an elastic cord that is easy to stretch and
put on. You have choice of blue or pink ! It comes with your nursing necklace order at no charge
